• Regular blood sugar monitoring, including your Continuous Glucose Monitor
• A1C tests 
• Eye exams 
• Foot checks 
• Other preventative screenings crucial for diabetes management 
  

Review the list of covered medications and their associated costs. 

Review coverage details to understand what you will be responsible for: 

• Know the upfront cost/premium paid
• Understand the copays, deductibles, and coinsurance amounts 
• Out-of-pocket maximums for different services 
  

Check on your supplies: Prior authorizations are often required and can take time, so ensure you have enough supplies when setting up new insurance.
