Specifications

  • Design: All-in-one, disposable sensor (no separate transmitter needed). It is roughly half the size of the older Guardian 4 sensor.
  • Wear Time: Up to 6 days. A 24-hour grace period allows extended use before replacing.
  • Insertion: Simple two-step applicator. Application takes less than 10 seconds.
  • Accuracy: 10.2% MARD (Mean Absolute Relative Difference), which measures how close sensor readings are to lab values.
  • Readings: Sends glucose values every 5 minutes via Bluetooth.
  • Calibration: Factory-calibrated; no fingersticks required for everyday use.
  • Water Resistance: Can be submerged in 8 feet (2.4 meters) of water for up to 30 minutes.
  • Warm-up Time: 2 hours.
  • Recommended Placement: Back of the upper arm.
