Oktoberfest Cabbage

- 1 head red cabbage, shredded
- 2 apples, cored and chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- ½ cup cider vinegar
- ¼ cup packed light brown sugar
- ¼ tsp ground cloves
- ½ tsp salt
- In a soup pot, combine all the ingredients and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 40-50 minutes or until the cabbage is tender.
